LOOK MA I'M IN MAUI.... ALOOOOOOOHA

Yes, here I am this week in Maui... Landed today on July 4th!
As you can see anyone can get a professional sunset picture when you are in Maui... This was as the sun set at the Luau... Isn't it beautiful...

We went to a Luau... Brenda and Richard are posing with three of the Hula Girls... Notice the smile on Richard's face... Hahaha...

We rented this blue PT Cruiser convertible... It is so fun... and a real cruiser... My Randy will be very proud to know I selected something so retro and cool... and his favorite color... Just like his eyes...

Brenda and I put our swim suits on and did the traditional thing... bless the water immediately...

Here is a cute picture of Julian and Michelle... in front of our condo by the beach...

Tired tonight as it is 9pm here but my actual time is pacific which makes it MIDNIGHT!! Hahaha...

Ok... This is day two and we started out with breakfast at the place our family loved so much a few years ago when we all came to Maui... I forgot the name but it is in the town of Kiheu and she does all her own baking... Ummmmm good!

Then we began our trip to Hana and the Seven Sacred Pools... Oh what fun especially in the Cruiser... Waterfalls and follage and ocean and blow holes and black sand beaches and WOW.... Take a look and you will see how beautiful our day was...

On our third day (which is Thursday) we took the Blue Water Rafting tour of the untouched south coast of Maui... Where the volcanic lava has streamed to the sea and formed strange formations... Many caves and arches and cool things... It was just Brenda and myself and an adventure I will never forget... At times the waves were 50 ft. high and we would plow right into it and the water would literally lift the raft from the front and the water would come over us and the spray... Truly an experience of a lifetime...

Look at these caves and arches... Most of it are on video clips which the blog won't take... but one of the caves our captain backed the raft into... This has to be done quick as the big wave comes and leaves.... What a blast...

We saw Dolphins... There were spinners and then the regular... When we stopped to snorkel we got into the water and it was awesome... I went swimming with the Dolphins... Brenda, too... but she had a hard time doing the snorkeling and the camera so I took the pictures I hope you enjoy them... There were probably 18 and they were by the side of me and under me and on top of me... but never touching.... they would jump up out of the water and spin.... I still feel like I must have been dreaming... The captain said it is in the brochure only because it has happened sometimes... but we were really a lucky group that it happened today... I told Brenda before she could tell me.... "Hellooooo, that's the favor of God in our lives..." Everybody knows she is the Miss Favor of God Queen! Hahaha.... Actually, it has been my desire to swim with the dolphins... Every family cruise in May to Mexico I plan to do it and just pay the fee... The Lord knew the very desire of my heart and I believe He prepared this just for me... to the left (I know it looks far away but it wasn't) is a spinner dolphin jumping up and spinning... What fun!

And today is day 4... The Watson's and Douglas's went to breakfast this morning... I on the other hand insisted on sleeping in... Since I was dead tired... but Richard and Brenda brought me an egg Mac Muffin from Macdonalds... hahaha... It was yummy... and just in time... All three of us ladies of grace enjoyed 90 minute massages... Three lady masueses came to the condo and set up and did our massage right out on our lanai... with the waves of the ocean and the gentle breeze of Maui it was simply divine... Rosemarie wept as we told her about this treat from the two of us for her... She said you dream of something like this someday, but when it actually happens it is so surreal and wonderful... Truly our God does care about these little things that seem not to matter to everyone! Here we go again with someones desire being granted once again... Oh how cool!

Then we went to Lahaina we ate at Bubba Gumps.... Mmmmmmmmm good!! I mean the shrimp is fabulous! Also, the HOT bread pudding with ice cream... Brenda and Richard took off on their romantic sunset dinner cruise... While Bob and Rosemarie and I had a impromtu meeting... Discussing their church and the in's and out's of Maui Power Church... Oh the great things God is doing since they have come... and they are so happy with this great direction God has placed them...

Today is Saturday and this is our last night here... The three of us went to the Marriott for a really nice buffet breakfast...

By the sea of course... Open air of course... Going to the birds just look and see... tehehe...

We all sat on the same side of the table so we could all enjoy the beautiful view... It really was lovely...

After breakfast we enjoyed these beautiful Plumeria Trees... My favorite fragrance...

Here's Richard using his finger as bait in the fish pond... It didn't work... sure wish it had these fish are worth allot of money...

Yep... You guessed it... The very next thing we did was SNORKEL... Yahoooo! The company we booked everything with gave us a $7 snorkel cruise to Coral Gardens... It was awesome because when we arrived for whatever reason we were upgraded to a bigger vessel and with nicer facilities and equiptment... I took underwater pictures but the are not developed yet... But here are some above water pics... Including, Brenda going down the waterslide to get into the water...

Here is Bob at work... He manages a jewelry store and he is selling Brenda... Don't worry he got us all... hahaha...

This is where our friends the Watson's live... they are the missionaries to Maui... God has provided them with a furnished apartment... with Plumeria trees right out the front door... they were actually two blocks from where our condo was... You'd really think the Lord had planned it.... like duhhhhh! No kidding! So many great things the Lord has done and I will share them with you all... When God is in control you can simply "Don't worry and be happy"... as He cares for you!

Notice all the bottles of water on the counter... They are all labeled "Maui Power Chapel" sold for a donation of $1 and the service time and location and phone number is on the bottle... Great idea...

Well... Tomorrow is the day we fly home... Right after church... so stay tuned as the church service pics will be published by Monday....

As I promised here are the pics and report... The service was wonderful we shared Holy Communion right there under the tent on the beach in Wailea, Maui... One of the most beautiful spots in Maui... A place where we are believing for the building to be built to place the church inside... Praise God!

One of the ladies in the church did a beautiful Praise Hula special... What a blessing her talent was delivered with an amazing anointing...

Pastor Bob (as he is known by in the town of Kiheu) is praying for one of the key men in the church... He doesn't know it yet but he is going to be a great man of God to work in the church...

The whole family works together in the service... Anthony runs the video while Julian runs the pa system and Michelle leads the worship... They all set up and take down each Sunday... A real team effort as they see the vision for Maui fulfilled!

...And just like that 5 days had past and the service was over and it was off to the airport to return the car... We all were teary eyed saying our good byes... now we had to say one last good bye to our little PT Cruiser Convertible... It was fun but I really discovered I would NOT want to own one... hahaha...

P.S. We were upgraded in our seating on the way home... divine appointment gave me the opportunity to minister to a lady sitting next to me from Tonga an island near Figi in New Zealand... She is a Christian seeking to know about the HG and I thought she would even be filled right there on the plane... She was going for a surgery that was the alternative to a hysterectomy.... It was the Lord who directed her here to the mainland at UCLA and God placed us together just so we could share and be encouraged... and so Richard, Brenda and I could receive more of God's favor... Hallelujah!! I'm saved and thankful for my walk with Him as it gets greater each day I live... Yes, Ma... Aloha from Hawaii... My God is good... ALL THE TIME.... Thanks for teaching me about Him... and you too dad!
