Look who came home... Yipeeeeeee

It was 2am on Friday night when the headlights of Tim and Tamra's van shinned through our bedroom blinds... We jumped out of bed and got to the door to welcome our family... It was so fun and exciting and joyful... Caleb came right to grandmother and got comfy in my arms still trying to do the sleep thing... Madelyn was a bit cautious as to just who we were and where she was in the middle of the night... Remember she was only six months when she left and she's over a year now... Tim and Tamra were exhausted as they drove and drove and drove till finally they were out of Texas and then had to drive one more day... Little Tamra's eyes were blood shot as she did allot of the driving...

Caleb wanted some cereal so I brought the bowl into the living room and spoon fed him... OK, OK.... I know he's not a baby but this was late, after a long drive and I'M HIS GRANDMOTHER.... HAHA... Madelyn observed from a distance and started nudging her way closer to me till I could reach her with a bite... ummmm good she loved the first bite and before too long she was up in my lap eating right along side of her brother....

We visited till around 4am until our adrenaline calmed down and then we went to bed... Of course that was after Caleb tested his jumping ability on the bed... and Madelyn discovered she could crawl up there and jump, too!! How wonderful that night was... and now they are here and with Chris and Shaye and the kids back from Redding (a whole year now) Our family is together and life is great!
